who we are:

Roland Warzecha

Roland Warzecha is a founding member of IO – Illustratoren Organisation and an experienced illustrator for archaeological museums. His work includes detailed reconstructions and vivid historical scenes.

He is also a recognised researcher in historical swordsmanship, collaborating with museums worldwide. With a background in visual storytelling, historical scholarship, living history and medieval martial arts, he brings a unique skill set to the creation of authentic animated heritage.

Oliver Wuensch

Oliver Wuensch is a versatile illustrator and multimedia artist with a strong background in visual storytelling for film, advertising, theatre, and corporate media. His work spans storyboarding, 2D/3D character design, digital illustration, and animation.

Since 2022, he has been integrating locally run AI models into his workflow, training them with proprietary content to explore new creative possibilities. With extensive experience in tools like Unity3D, ZBrush, and Cinema4D, he combines artistic vision with technical fluency to push the boundaries of narrative visualisation across media formats.

Béla Csampai

Béla Csampai is a 3D artist with a focus on the digital reconstruction of historical architecture, artefacts, landscapes and figures. With a strong passion for antiquity, the medieval world and other periods, Béla combines technical skill and historical insight to create realistic and immersive reconstructions.

Collaborating closely with historians and archaeologists, he has worked on visualisations for museum exhibitions, academic publications, animated films, VR experiences and interactive realtime applications for museums, cultural heritage institutions and other clients.

André Weiers

André Weiers is a veteran multimedia developer and creative technologist with over three decades of experience in 3D production, digital media, and interactive storytelling. He specialises in integrating visual and 3D content into immersive applications, including AR, VR, and real-time environments.

With a strong background in both programming and artistic direction, he develops tailored solutions that bring historical reconstructions to life across platforms — from concept to final implementation. His expertise ensures a seamless bridge between visual design, user interaction, and technical execution.
